We serve as the perioperative physician and provide medical care to patients undergoing a surgical procedure. We medically evaluate each patient before surgery (pre-operative), consult with the surgical team, provide pain control and support of life functions during surgery (intra-operative), supervise care after surgery (post-operative), and medically discharge the patient from the recovery unit.
Patients also rely on us for pain relief and consultation for other procedures, including critical care and trauma, cardiac laboratory procedures, diagnostic procedures, and non-surgical treatments.
